Purple Couch

What is Purple Couch?

Purple Couch is a magazine published by 10MMM and young people of the Southern Grampians and surrounding communities. It is published quarterly to allow young people to have their say, as well as to give them the opportunity to put together and publish their own magazine.

How is Purple Couch made?

At Action Group meetings fortnightly we discuss themes for the Purple Couch, make plans for who will write articles for the magazine and what articles will be placed in the magazine.

We use this time to edit all the articles, pictures and random facts handed in before the deadline and work on the layout of the magazine so all spaces are filled. The finished products are then handed to the printer. Who then publishes the magazine which we gladly distribute around Southern Grampians, local schools and communities.

Get involved

We are always looking for writers and artists to write articles, draw pictures, you can even add recipes if you want. People who are interested in sharing their computer knowledge or just crazy facts to fill in the blank spots. All is welcome to make the Purple Couch even better then it is.

Better yet why not think of getting involved by becoming a member of the Purple Couch action group, we are always looking for great new and exciting people. You might be surprised and enjoy yourself, it’s a great way to get to know new people and come out of your shell.
