Sexual Health, Webcams, and Doctors?
Through an online questionnaire, a team of researchers at the University of Melbourne is trying to help find the best way to enable people to talk to their doctors about sexual health matters.
We would like to know, should there be access to sexual health care services on the telephone or over a webcam on the computer, or just in person? Which would you prefer?
The questionnaire is for all people living in Australia aged 16 to 24 (under 25), regardless of sexual experience.
The questionnaire can be accessed at http://shout.mshc.com.au/ and should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
We would be most appreciative if you would be willing to complete the questionnaire and pass it on to friends in the target age group (16 to 24).
Bayside Film Festival - Call for Entries
JUMP CUT is on again! Young people aged 13 - 25 across Australia are invited to submit short films for screening throughout the Bayside Film Festival. Jump Cut gives young filmmakers an opportunity to screen their works alongside professional filmmakers.
Young filmmakers can submit short films in any genre up to 10 minutes in length. All works submitted will be subject to a competitive selection process, with the strongest films showcased throughout the four-day event. In addition to this, members of the Australian Film Critics Association will determine which films will be awarded an industry prize. Films will be judged in two separate age group categories 13 -18 (secondary students) and 19 - 25 (tertiary students). Films must have been completed within the last two years (2008 onwards).
Selected films will screen at Bayside Film Festival 14 - 17 July 2010 at Palace Cinema, Brighton Bay, Melbourne.
Please refer to the website address for conditions of entry, entry form and other relevant information. www.bayside.vic.gov.au/jumpcut
Closing date for films: Friday April 30 2010
